Philosophy

Inspired by the women’s movement in the Islamic world, I set out to reimagine my relationship with God. I wanted every indulgent experience to be recreated by hand.

Why? Because our skin lets in nearly everything applied to its surface—that includes much of the artificial happiness found in social media and the material world.

By connecting with my hands, I can feel, smell, and even taste the difference. It changed my relationship with God, and I hope it does the same for you.
